When asked if I've been an artist all my life, my answer is, "Not yet." My first stint in photography ended in frustration when all my equipment ended up on the bottom of the Red Sea, along with the ship. Fortunately, I did not. But that was a millenia ago. With the advent of digital art, I once again found a niche that included photography. Since 1998 I've illustrated about 70 books. Last year I upgraded to a respectable Nikon and declared photography serious business.
After living in every corner of the
48 states and in far-flung climes like England, Osterreich and Israel, I've returned to the north woods where I spend too much time sitting by the fire longing to travel again. Meanwhile, the grandeur of the woodlands and waterways of Wisconsin will be fun to document - at least in spring through fall.
I continue to design book covers and a vast range of art and photography projects. The competent staff, pictured here, will answer your questions by email.
